I've read both good and bad on this book. 
 
Anyone have thoughts on this book? 
 
For better or worse I bought a copy. Should receive it in the next 10 days or so.

Received a very heavy book today, Wed., 06/20/2018. 
Well if you want a big book with lots of sub pics with uboat numbers on most of them here is a great book. Want lots of data and info this is good book. Want lots of pic and info on the smaller subs this is a great book. Want lots of diagrams on the subs, this is not the book.Value,  well I bought the book for less than $60. shipped to me, new.  All in all with the large amount of pics and info I'm happy with the book. If you have any questions about the book let me know and I'll try to help out.

I just tried to get this book, but were all over $80.
Is there a lot of type IX or X in it?

Sorry been under the weather a little. From what I've seen $80 is a good price because most up for sale is way over $100. A very large book lots of info. As I stated before. "Want lots of diagrams on the subs, this is not the book." That said I still enjoyed the book.
It's a hard call, finding a good book.Anyone else have a better book on this??

I looked around and the $80 seem to be the lowest I can find.
I am going to Jacksonville and Tampa FL this month  to see where the U-505 Docked on her War bound tour, so that will take all my money for the month.
Will get it next month.
