The blog shows this excellent modeller's 5 year work, after deciding to build HMS Hood almost from scratch (can't recall the scale but it's bigger than 1/700). He built even the smallest detail with utmost precision and faithfullness to reality. Many pictures (both WIP and real b/w HMS hood), a series of postcards showing life on board of a Royal Navy battleship in the 40s, plenty of useful modelling tips and interesting stuff to learn. Am really sorry that the link is no longer available, maybe (and I hope it very much so) it's just a temporary service failure due to updating, I tried to google-search it today, the thumbs of pages descriptions do appear but it's impossible to get to the blog. Maybe tryin again in a few days will be better luck. And i hope this guys work won't be lost forever because it's truly amazing, he put so many energies into both modelling HMS Hood (which after 5 years is still quite far from being completed) and creating the blog, that it would be such a waste!

just to give u a rough idea, but the blog's 1000 times better let's hope to see it "online" again anytime soon

I'm the happy owner of the blog and thank you for your comments! :D
I used to have an unlimited upload server but recently moved to another server with some more tools (this is how I found you ;)). I hope to fully avoid this flickering presence of the blog in the future...

Yes, welcome and great stuff. Love this sort of thing, it is the heart and spice of the hobby. (I hate to call it just a "hobby", but am limited by convention).
