reeeally big. we're talking, well, BIG! It's very cool. To bad they are so expesnive to maintain, it would be a GREAT plasure sub, or a moving underwater lair for a Dr Evil type.

You could get two complete Type VII's into the PH of the Typhoon Grin  Look that different in the displacement Typhoon 48,000 tons and Type VIIC 1,070 tons

Maybe that how U-boat's came about. Typhoon are mother U-boat and can give live birth to Type VII's Grin
