Stern light.
I didnt fit the lightbulb, because the frontline U-Boats had them removed. I left the glass in- i think it looks better that way.

I completed the SG.
It was tricky. First i have scratched the 4 supports from brass sheet. Then the thin wire was soldered to each support. The hull was drilled to accept the wire- providing the strength to the joint.  8)

Your light is...um...well, to quote Darth Vader: "Impressive,...MOST impressive!" (you can imagine the hissing ventilator breathing or not as you wish).

WOW! If the boats had left the bulbs in, I can see you actually getting or making a grain of wheat ACCURATE bulb... this s quite a build.

I scratched some brackets from the sheet of brass, and soldered short wires to every each of them. Holes were drilled in the right places, and CA helped to glue it in. Nice solid job. ;D

Four remaining brackets for the winch by the stern external storage have been completed.

Ive masked the areas for the conning tower, and capstan with Humbrol`s Maskol. It will leave the unpainted surface untill im ready to glue the parts on at the en of painting process.

Now i will cover the hull with Tamiya`s primer- it will highlight all the imperfections in need of correction. ;D
