Armament reference L/F

With my project coming to the end soon / relative / id like to ask you guys for some help with references regarding type VIIC armament.
I do have some blury images of the 88mm gun, and the flak, but what im looking for is some in detail shots, or plans, or drawings of these weapons.
It is nice focus point on the model, and i dont wont to disapoint.
Id like to go full on with detailing the guns, but to achieve so i need some references.
Im sure such topic will help not only me, but lot of people out there thinking of making model of type VII.

Another thing im struggling with is the good clear shot of capstan.
I can not find reference on any of the pictures, due to fact it was retractable.

   ...Siara...i can't help much with references on the "88"..It appears you already have more than myself. One point of a different interest, though...I've noticed in other photos, previously..and in the few on this subject.......The "cleats" on the deck, just below the railing...and there are a few more in other photos. I don't mean to cause you more work?....But they would look good!.... (So, whatta ya think?)

Bill- It is in the plan for after the paint.
The reason im not gonna add it now is possible trouble masking the deck/hull color divide.
Similar as the railings, planned for when the paint is on. Even the net cutter is made in such way, so i can strip it, then reassemble it.

Hi guys,

On the image of U 95 below you can see the lead sight mounted on the starboard side. A sight could be mounted on either side. But often it isn't in VIIC photos. Presumably it was stored below and only mounted when the 88mm was in operation. I've seen early U 552 photos with a lead sight in place on BOTH sides.

This one of U 564 shows grease around the barrel to help it slide back after firing -


Are you depicting the 88mm in action or at rest? If it is in action, you need to unwind the lanyard wire and tompion from the end of the barrel. The tompion was stored in a round receptacle, while the wire was wound around two pegs at the front of the gun base. 

Early in U 552's career the gun was painted light grey, with all upper surfaces being black. This meant that the top half of the barrel, and the top half of the control arm and other parts were all black.

I've got some 70+ photos of a 8,8cm 5K C/35.
lots of detail shots (if You ever wanted to read the plaquards)

.....In regards to the lead sight being on the starboard side...and sometimes on the port...This could easily have been an option ...[OR]...If the photo negative were turned upside down any features would be reversed when a print was made. "easy mistake". This is hardly noticable when the rest of the "bits" in the photo are symetrical..Hate to open this can of worms (a colonial expression in the states) but i've done it myself to alter photos that i'm working on..

The 88mm gun isnt simetrical. Both sides differ a lot from each other.
