I just had a quick glance at the new U-505 article and want to express my thanks to Dougie for his excellent work and willingness to share his efforts with everyone.

Congratulations Dougie on another fine piece of research!

 :) I have been reading over Dougie's research on U-505. It is another great job Dougie my friend! Thank you  for sharing it with me and all on this Forum.  Anything  on the Type IX is along time coming.  PS You were too kind to the Curator at MSI about the colours used on U-505 !  They are just plain wrong!
