Title: Tamiya 1/48 Spit
Post by: ohms931 on 05 Mar , 2012, 06:57
Hi,
This is my first post on AMP although Ive spoken to Wink & Dougie regarding my lastest project 1/72 U-47.
I mostly model planes in plastic but I have completed a plank on bulkhead HM Cutter 'Lady Nelson' from Victory models. I posted these pics on Britmodeller quite a while ago but I promised Wink I'd also post here. BTW thanks for the flags Wink they actually managed to make it to Thailand
You'll notice that I made a mess of painting the red, white & blue tail decal as I lost the original!
Anyway here my pics thanks for looking

Looks very good to me, and I don't see the "red mess". I really like the paint job, it's got enough "bits" to have life, but not over done. I can see panel lines and a little chipping/wear, just right!

She looks to be a nice kit, too, I hear all kinds of goodies about the big brother in 1:32. How did you find the kit? And you chose a Spit just because they are awesome?
