Photo and drawings availability

Hi everybody,
I'm Filippo from Padova, Italy.
I'm an U-Boat Type VII enthusiast; I recently bought the 1/48 Trumpeter U-552.
I have a question for the site's administrators: why almost all the fantastic resources of the site ( photos and drawings ) are not available ?
When I try to open a photo or a drawing, almost all are nor openable...
I'd like to know if this fact is intentional and wanted by site's administrators, or it is a consequence of somewhat I do wrongly...

Hello Filippo,

I don't think it is anything you are doing wrongly. Sorry but a number of images were lost in a crash some time ago.

There might be an additional issue. Someone may know better than me but I think that if the images were uploded to image hosting sites such as Photobucket and no longer pay their subscription then the images won't be visible.
