Title: Type VIIC conning tower hatch

Hi everybody,
I have to rebuild the conning tower hatch of my Trumpeter U552 model; the kit item is very poor ( see posted photo ).
I have several photos of the interior side of the hatch, but no one good of the external side: anyone has one?

Trumpeter obviously copied U995s hatch less the Handwheel.
I'm not sure if the Handwheel was normally removable or if it is a U995 display issue for security etc.

I'll take all the information from your photos; I noticed there are small differences between various hatches, but the general appearance is the same...

Thanks to Dougie's photos, here the completed hatch....still missing small elements ( reinforcements ribs on brackets, spring lock and small screws on hinges...), but the general appearance is already visible...
