Type XXI - waterline model
« on: 08 Feb , 2009, 07:12 »
I have a plan, it involves doing a 1:72 waterline model of a XXI - it should be a relatively easy scratchbuild, but I need some plans in a quality good enough to enlarge it to 1:72.

I have "Vom Original zum Model" and it has the plans, but the cross sections are a bit on the blurry siden.

Anyone have better scans to work from - or know where to find them ??

Let's just say I was testing the bounds of reality. I was curious to see what would happen. That's all it was: curiosity.

There is also a Vacuform kit of the Type XXI in 1/72.  Oto Greza  has it for sale.  Check the forum here on the Type IX. You can get his contact info there.
