Yes, it was a WWI Uboot. Don't know what Type.  Type Hollywood maybe?!!? ::)

Ya, but the HW type has many variations!  ;D Like the Das Boot VIIC hull in Raiders of the Lost Ark as a VIIA. The there's the VIIC mashup I saw in some 1950s movie: German Tower on a US Gato hull. Just a tad goofy!
